Microneedling is a professional skin rejuvenation treatment designed to support the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin. Using a professional microneedling device, very fine sterile needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This stimulates the skin’s natural repair response and allows professional skin boosters to be selected according to the client’s individual skin type and concerns. Benefits Microneedling may help improve fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring, post-acne marks, dry or dehydrated skin, dull skin, uneven pigmentation, skin firmness and overall glow. How it works Immediately after treatment, the skin may appear pink or red and can feel warm, tight or slightly sensitive. Over the following days, the skin begins its natural repair process and may feel slightly dry or flaky. Over the following weeks, collagen and elastin production continues, helping improve skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality. Treatment approach Each treatment starts with a consultation and skin assessment. Professional skin boosters are selected depending on the client’s skin type and goals, including Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and PDRN-based skin boosters for skin regeneration, texture and rejuvenation. Downtime Day 1: Redness and warmth are normal. No makeup. Keep skin clean and avoid touching the face unnecessarily. Day 2: Redness usually begins to settle. Keep the skin hydrated and avoid active skincare. Day 3–7: Some dryness or mild flaking may occur. Do not pick or peel the skin. After treatment Avoid strong active skincare, exfoliation, sauna, swimming, heavy exercise and excessive sun exposure during the initial healing period. SPF 50+ is strongly recommended once the initial sensitivity has settled. Suitability Microneedling can be suitable for clients concerned with ageing skin, fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, texture, pigmentation, dehydration, loss of firmness and general skin rejuvenation. Important Microneedling may not be suitable for everyone. A consultation and medical/skin history form must be completed before treatment. Treatment may be postponed if the client has active infection, severe inflammation, open wounds, active cold sores or other contraindications.
